It's about that time...

Well its that time again to log all the workouts I've been doing. So here it is.

Week of July 2:

Monday: Biked ten miles as said before

Tuesday: Rest, or rather nothing. (It was a real poo day)

Wednesday: Biked 12.7 miles

Thursday: Lower body Workout.
Lunges 6x8 (25lbs)
Front Squats 8x5 (65 lbs)
Back Squats 8x3 (90 lbs)
My goal was repetition so I did another set
this time 10x5 and 10x3 for the back
and front squats.
5x10 explosive jumps (25lbs)

Friday: I jogged a mile as a warm up to my little basketball court again to do my shuttle or suicide runs. Like before I did them in quarters and at the last quarter do a pancake. This time at each line touched I decided to crouch in good rugby form. In truth I did that maybe 65 to 75 percent of the time. It got harder to keep the form as I went along so I know the next time I do it I would have to keep up the discipline. This day was absolutely sweltering hot. I mean every time I would rest between each shuttle I was being cooked in my own heat. I was sweating so hard I took off my shirt until I was in my sports vest. (This is in public ya'll. I'm half naked on a basketball court at eight o'clock at night.) Even the sweat on the shirt I took off was cooler than the air around me. I think in Chicago it must've been 100 degrees. For real.

Saturday:Upper body Workout.
Shrugs 3x30 20lbs
Lateral Raise 5x8 10lbs
2 Arm Extensions 6x8 20lbs
Bent Arm Row 5x8 25lbs
Bench Press25lbs 5x8

Sunday:Rest (Kind of a poo day)

Now that I look back at my workouts with the weights. I'd really like to kick it up a notch and really start adding the poundage and the lead and the iron and whatnot. I certainly would like to build muscle and start cutting and all that good stuff. So I'll be turning up the heat with when it comes to those workouts.

I love ya'll. Every time I read your posts they give me inspiration for my own workouts. Like when I read Lucy's countdown exercise I really wanted to push myself to start doing some serious repetition. I know its in me to do 100s reps of everything and doing more repetition is in line with my ultimate goal of muscle endurance. Keep posting lovelies. Your feedback feeds me. Lets feed each other, yes?
