Anyway I at least picked an excellent time to get better because the REAL workouts start tomorrow ;) yaayy
Week 2 went as such:
Tuesday the 27th: outside in the cold for a mock rugby practice. did that thing where you sprint the diagonals and jog the sides of a field 4 times... don't know what it's called... some ladders, with my wonderful boyfriend Colin throwing me the ball while I did them... things like this. With pushups sprinkled in here and there.
Wednesday I felt like hell, went to bed early and slept for 15 hours, then had to pack and leave for Vermont which took up most of the afternoon. I went to bed early again that night because the bell rings at 7 am !!! every morning at the ski club we go to. Thursday I snowboarded for 6 hours on ice-I usually ski but I snowboard when conditions are crappy because Okemo bores me out of my mind (I've skied there every other weekend during the winter since I was 3) unless there are moguls and woods. The plan for the next day was to ski-conditions were supposed to be looking up-but instead it rained and was 45 degrees out so we hung out at the lodge for most of the day then drove home. Saturday-New Year's Eve, family stuff and such; Sunday-New Year's Day, friend stuff and such.
So all in all, not the best. Holidays and vacations and sickness have gotten in the way quite a bit. But tomorrow-bring on the workouts!
hahahaha the things "where you sprint the diagonals and jog the sides of a field 4 times" are called X-drills
